Overview

Sheridan Logistics, Inc. is looking for capable, premium, professional drivers, not steering wheel holders. We recognize the value of quality drivers and appreciate them. We haul freight on highly specialized equipment nationwide. Most of our work is with a small number of government facilities and our drivers like that more than commercial inner city shipments. We have terminals in Virginia, Oklahoma, California and our home office in Brookwood, Alabama. We also have a fair number of satellite facilities in other areas of the country. We run all 48 continental states, Alaska and some Canada. Sheridan Logistics, Inc. runs a diversity of equipment, thereby appealing to a diversity of drivers. Included in our equipment portfolio is a number of specialized RGN's including a 19 Axle, ten 7, 8 and 9 axle, stretch RGN's, stretch step decks, specialized step decks, stretch flats, curtain side vans, roller bed vans and numerous other specialty type trailers. We have 65 power units to include fairly late model 70 mph Peterbilt 379's, 475 to 550 hp. with a variety of manual transmission speeds from 13 to 18. Drivers are assigned to one tractor and we do not slip seat unless the driver has a preference! We offer an excellent pay package with opportunities for incentive bonus in safety and driver referral programs. We pay weekly not weakly! We allow a pet and/or a passenger if preferred. We have a 24 hour team of driver friendly family oriented driver managers but each driver is assigned to one driver manager.
